They say nothing beats a gift that comes from the heart without the expenditure of money. Hence the other day I decided to craft a 3D printed heart basket gift for my wife as a Valentine's Day gift. It was actually my first attempt trying to craft something using a 3D Printing Pen. After sketching the blueprint in my mind, I began to work on my gift.

3D Printed Heart Basket Gift For Valentine's Day

Equipped with the 3D Printing Pen, a few bundles of filaments of different colours and a pair of scissors, I started to work on my gift. This 3D Printing Pen actually belongs to my son as I have bought one for each of them as an educational toy. Ha 😁 So I was using his gift to help me craft Valentine's present for his mommy.

Honestly speaking, it was not easy at all in the beginning. I could not get the shape that I wanted after countless repeated failed attempts. Still, I was unperturbed as I knew eventually I would nail it. After some tinkering and adjustments to the temperature, I finally got the hang of using the 3D Printing Pen. Phew!

Trial and error

4 different colours of filaments were used to craft my gift and of course, it involved hues of red and pink which are synonymous with Valentine's Day celebration. It took me quite a lot of time, patience and effort to make this 3D printed heart basket and not to mention the countless number of getting my fingers "burned". LOL 😂 As the saying goes, "Nothing worthwhile comes easily" right? After a few hours (yeah no joke), my "masterpiece" was completed!

Instead of celebrating this special day in a fancy restaurant or cafe, we decided to enjoy a few slices of cakes at home. I bought Secret Recipe's cakes but unfortunately, we were too busy indulging in our cakes instead of taking photos. After we had filled our tummies, I took out the 3D printed heart basket gift and gave it to her. When she received her gift, the smile on her face said it all-priceless.
