If Mencken is correct, and I Fear he is, we deserve what we have, and we are reaping exactly what we have sown. If the fear, hatred, bitterness, open racism, greed and corruption now on display by the lying pig in the White House truly represents this great country’s “inner soul” then may God have mercy on us all.
