Every so often readers send me Internet emails asking me to either reprint them or for me determine if the contents are true and accurate. I have debunked or corrected hundreds of them here.
Today's request comes from reader M.H. who gets the following email every few months (click on any panel for larger view):

Loneliness & Poverty
When your kids (or grand kids) ask you "why they have to study or work hard all their life and continue making money?" Show them these pictures of Brian Armastrongo, President of Renault, and his current girlfriend below.
And then explain that this is not a 'love relationship" but a "hate relationship".
HE HATES BEING LONELY... AND SHE HATES POVERTY!!

Allow me to make a few corrections:
- That's not Brian Armastrongo - his name is Flavio Briatore.
- He's not the President of Renault - he's the former manager of the Benetton Formula One racing team, which became Renault F1 racing team in 2002.
- That's not his girlfriend - it's his wife Elisabetta Gregoraci, a 28 year old 'Wonderbra' model and Italian TV personality (Flavio is 30 years older than she is) at Port Beach of Marinella, Sardinia, Italy - 28 Jul 2008. When the photos were taken they were already married for more than six weeks.
Flavio is worth about $150 million despite flunking out of public schools, going bankrupt and being convicted of various frauds.
I believe that a certain hormone in a female kicks in when the man she is looking at has mucho dinero that clouds her vision and makes her overlook certain defects in her lover. Conversely, if her mate is lacking in funds or ability to generate them, then her vision and memory become quite acute and she will be able to spot even the slightest defect which will become unbearably difficult to tolerate or excuse.
