Terry Russell, an American romance writer, is the main character in the 2016 Hallmark Movie Summer Villa (Hilarie Burton). When she goes to the south of France, she meets Matthew Everston, a famous chef played by Victor Webster who is trying to get over a bad review. Both of them are having trouble with their jobs, so they decide to share a house for the summer. Sure enough, they fall in love.

I saw this movie when it first came out and thought it was a lot of fun. You’re also going to like it.

Meet the Cast of “Summer Villa”
Hilarie Burton plays Terry on TV. Burton is married to Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan on The Walking Dead. They have two kids, a 10-year-old and a 2-year-old. During their quarantine, they have been living on their farm and starring in a show called Friday Night In with the Morgans. The most recent episode came out in mid-July.

IMDb says that Summer Villa was filmed in Canada, specifically in the city of Montreal, Quebec.
Webster told TV Goodness in an interview that the movie was shot in Montreal, which stood in for France. He said that they didn’t get to see much of the city because they were so busy filming.
He said, “I think we worked 19 and a half hours the last day. We started at 11 a.m. and finished at 6 a.m. the next day.”
