The legendary hero has died! Yūsha ga Shinda! Murabito no Ore ga Hotta Otoshiana ni Yūsha ga Ochita Kekka.) is a Japanese manga series written and drawn by Subaruichi. It was published in parts on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app from December 2014 to December 2020, and its chapters were collected into twenty tankbon volumes. Liden Films is making an anime TV series based on the book, and it will start airing in April 2023.

Premise of The Movie

At Hell’s Gate, Sion Bladen stopped the Demon King and his army. Now that the Demon King is ready to rise again, Sion jumps back into battle to face his sworn enemy. Unfortunately, he dies in a pig trap dug by farmer Touka Scott to protect himself from the demons. Anri Haysworth, who is a necromancer, has no other choice but to put the perverted soul of Touka in the dead body of Sion to pretend to be him. Together with Yuna Eunice, a childhood friend of Touka’s, the three heroes must rise to the challenge.

Anime

On April 28, 2022, it was announced that the book would be turned into an anime TV show.
It was made by Liden Films and directed by Rion Kujo. Y Sat oversaw the scripts, Yosuke Yabumoto designed the characters, Akito Fujiwara designed the monsters and props, and Kana Utatane, Yki Nara, Yamazo, and MOKA (Kayo Konishi and Yukio Kond) made the music.

The first episode is set to air in April 2023.
