A number of locations across the USA were used to film the movie. In addition to California’s Walt Disney Studios, it also comprised a number of locations in Massachusetts and New York. The Proposal’s Story

Late riser Andrew Paxton rushes out of bed, buys two coffees, and sprints to work, but he collides with another worker and spills coffee on his shirt. Colden Books is a publisher of books, and Margaret Tate serves as its executive editor-in-chief.

Her entire crew, notably her assistant Andrew Paxton, hates her. She coerces Andrew into marrying her when she realizes that she could be deported to Canada and that his future hinges on their union. Mr. Gilbertson warns them that if the government launches an investigation, they would be put through rigorous testing to prove that the marriage is genuine.

When Margaret learns that Andrew’s family is the dominant owner of the enterprises in Sitka, she is astonished because she is not particularly receptive to Alaska. Margaret goes to get Kevin, but the eagle takes her phone instead. Margaret and Andrew talk a little about their pasts and realize they like the same band.

To celebrate Gammy’s birthday, they reluctantly decide to get married the next weekend. Gammy and Grace Paxton fit Margaret for a dress made by Gammy’s great-grandmother and jewelry that has been passed down through the Paxton family.

Margaret makes the decision that she cannot harm Andrew in this way and reveals the business partnership in front of everyone at the wedding, including Mr. Gilbertson.

Where was the Film Shot?

The main filming began on April 9 at Bearskin Neck and went on for a full day. On April 14–16, filming resumed at the Motif Number One building on Bradley Wharf, April 15–18 at the Haskins Building, and April 15–18 in the Rockport business district On April 22, the main filming moved to Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, where it took place for about two weeks. The city rented out all of its parking lots to make things easier for the producers.

When Bullock and her husband were in a car accident, filming for The Proposal had to be put on hold for a while. The wedding scene was shot in a three-story Victorian house from the 20th century. Filming at the house took three weeks. The homeowners told The New York Times that Nelson Coates knocked on their door and asked for leaves.

The owners told Coates to go to other homes, but in the end, they showed the producer around the house. On the first floor of the house, work was done. Filming took place outside of Cape Ann in the State Street Bank Building in Boston, Massachusetts, and in Lower Manhattan in New York City. There were 350 special effects shots in The Proposal, and some parts were edited with computer-generated images. Aaron Zigman wrote the music for The Proposal, and the Hollywood Studio Symphony recorded it at the Sony Scoring Stage.
