Real Madrid cling to the UEFA Super Cup after a 2-1 defeat against Manchester United

The encounter between the 2016/2017 champions league winner and Europa league winner proved relaxing at the first 45 minutes of the game when Casemiro chances the last defender and stretch De gea off the post.

Goal from Isco secured the win although Manchester United latest signing, Romero Lukaku made his debut after hitting the ball into the net later in the second half. Nemanja Matic also made his first debut against a big team defending and distributing passes for the 90+7 minutes he played.
Cristiano Ronaldo came in around the last minutes as a substitute for benzema and had only the chance of a free kick which he made off goal. With the Super Cup crown, Real Madrid had held on their sixth trophy win since zidane took charge last January.
