Sadly, over the past year, the number of Populations Impacted by genocide and mass atrocities has grown beyond the Darfuris, Congolese, Yazidis and Syrians to include the Rohingya of Myanmar and the people of Yemen. This is why Jewish World Watch unequivocally renews its commitment, as we have for the past 14 years, to not stand idly by as genocide and atrocities ensue. As a JWW supporter, you provide critical funds to combat genocide by helping JWW to educate our communities and to raise our collective voices locally, and to take action through our global partnerships in supporting on-the-ground projects that aid populations impacted by genocide and mass atrocities. When we received the incredible news that Dr. Mukwege had been awarded the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize for his visionary work healing thousands of women ravaged by sexual violence, we at Jewish World Watch were so proud of our longtime partner, a courageous obstetrician and gynecological surgeon working in the war-torn Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
