Islamic State has Released a video that claims to show battles with Iraqi forces to the west of the city of Samarra.
The production shows three apparent suicide truck bomb attacks, as well as gunmen firing weapons at distant targets and rushing forward in an effort to gain ground.
Close-ups of several dead fighters are shown towards the end.
