President Trump on Sunday (Jan. 28) tweets in what seems to be a response to a CNN interview on “The Van Jones Show” in which the rapper Jay z was asked for his opinion on the current political climate, black unemployment rate and, specifically, Donald Trump’s controversial shithole comments
Somebody please inform Jay-Z that because of my policies, Black Unemployment has just been reported to be at the LOWEST RATE EVER RECORDED!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 28, 2018
Jay z appeared to reject the idea that the Trump presidency has been good for African Americans and referred to the president a “superbug” in a discussion of his reported racist remarks.
The interviewer Jones on the same day pointed out that unemployment among black Americans community is lower under Trump that it was under the Democrats, to which Jay-Z responded that, it doesn’t really matter. “It’s not about money at the end of the day. Money is not, money doesn’t equate to happiness. It doesn’t,” he said. “That’s missing the whole point. You treat people like human beings, then that’s the main point.”

Arguments that Trump’s policies are NOT responsible for decline in African-American jobless rates
Sir, below is a chart from the Bureau of Labor Statistics:

There’s not a single bill signed into law by President Trump that has had any effect on black unemployment. The decline in black unemployment is attributable to policies of the previous administration.

Amazing that a tax bill that doesn’t take effect for a year “immediately and directly” affected the economy. Still doesn’t support Trump’s claim.

Trump didn’t claim anything. He said it was reported Which it was. He claimed nothing at all. The report claims black unemployment is at an all time low and. Trump cited the report. More democratic semantic manipulation where you try to change facts to suit your onions -grow up

Very not true. Trump passed the tax bill which immediately and directly effected the economy. Bank rates trickle down taxes are immediate. Nothing obama ever did helped our economy .. instead he destroyed it

I agree here, Obama wanted to outsource our entire supply chain. But Value doesn’t exist only at the final good. Sourcing, manufacturing, and transportation all add value to the economy. Macroeconomics are a liberal’s kryptonite
