Thousands of people have marched in a “people’s procession” through central London to honor fallen soldiers on the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
The marchers passed central London’s Cenotaph war monument, where senior members of the royal family and national leaders placed wreaths earlier Sunday.
The “people’s procession,” described as an expression of gratitude to those who fought in WWI and other conflicts, included the descendants of many veterans.
