Connecticut News: Springfield Man, ARGENYS RODRIGUEZ Sentenced to Prison for Role in ATM “Jackpotting” Scheme

Connecticut – John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that ARGENYS RODRIGUEZ, 22, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Vanessa L. Bryant in Hartford to 12 months and one day of imprisonment, followed by two years of supervised release, for his role in an ATM “jackpotting” scheme.

According to court documents and statements made in court, the matters stems from investigation into malware attacks on ATM machines in Connecticut and elsewhere.
