Statement from Missouri Governor Greitens on Veterans Commission

JEFFERSON CITY, MO/December 15, 2017 (STL.News) On Wednesday, the Missouri Veterans Commission accepted the resignation of former executive director Larry Kay.  They voted to appoint Col. Grace Link of the Missouri National Guard as Interim Executive Director.

The Governor released the following statement. “The commission took bold action to protect our veterans tonight. Missouri’s veterans—our neighbors, friends, parents, and grandparents–were being hurt.  When people are being hurt, and bureaucrats fail to act, fail to listen, and offer only excuses, we’re going to find out, and they are going to be replaced.”
