Yogi Adityanath sets plans into action

| Beginning to set his plans in motion, UP CM Yogi Adityanath conducted a meeting with the top officials in the state.
Ban on slaughterhouses and waiver of farm loans were amongst the things discussed.
Expressing concern over the killing of a BSP leader in Allahabad the previous night, he asked the UP Police chief to prepare a blueprint on state's law and order.

| An enthusiastic Uttar Pradesh Police initiated a massive 'Anti-Romeo' drive in CM Yogi Adityanath's hometown and parliamentary constituency of Gorakhpur.
Approximately 50 'Romeos' that were roaming around girls' colleges were sent behind bars.
During his election speeches, Yogi Adityanath had strongly advocated against sexual harassment faced by girls in public places and had suggested strict punishments for the same.

100 policemen suspended after Adityanath's appointment

| Over 100 policemen in Uttar Pradesh have been suspended for various forms of dereliction of duty after Yogi Adityanath became the CM of the state.
Ghaziabad, Meerut, Noida and Lucknow saw the maximum number of suspensions.
DGP Javeed Ahmed had orders a cleansing of the department earlier.
Most of those arrested are constables, while 7 officers were suspended in Lucknow.

Jeans, t-shirts banned by UP govt

| UP CM Yogi Adityanath has now banned state government employees from wearing jeans or t-shirts during working hours.
Employees have also been asked to be on time and dispose of cases quickly and efficiently. Several tehsil employees in Bareilly were found in violation of the rule and asked to leave.
The move is the latest in a series of crackdowns initiated by the CM.

The sellers are being hurt by UP government's crackdown on buffalo meat sellers.
The buffalo meat crackdown is expected to hurt the entire non-vegetarian supply chain and will cut the restaurants ad hotel from the supply, impacting their sales.
