Pakistan: The difficulties of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan are not taking the name of abating. Now, the leaders close to him who left his party have announced that they will form a separate political party. This information was given by businessman and longtime friend of Imran Khan, Jahangir Khan Tareen, during a press conference in Lahore on Thursday (June 8).

In a shock to Imran Khan, hundreds of dissident leaders launched a new political party on Thursday to contest the October general election, the Dawn News reported. Imran’s splinter leaders’ party is supported by Pakistan’s mighty army. What is special is that Imran Khan’s old friend Jahangir Khan leads this group of Tarin leaders.

New Party Istehkaam-e-Pakistan

It is worth mentioning that hundreds of PTI leaders have resigned from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after the attacks on military installations on May 9. In such a situation, all these leaders will now accept the membership of the Istehkaam-e-Pakistan party. In fact, the Istehkaam-e-Pakistan party will make its debut in Pakistani politics and will participate in the upcoming general elections in the country.

Announced by press conference

Jahangir Khan Tarin said during the press conference on Thursday that ‘we are laying the foundation for a new political party (Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party). We have come together on a platform to make joint efforts to get the country out of this quagmire, during which Alim Khan, Imran Ismail and other PTI leaders were present.

Tell them that Tareen used to be very close to Imran Khan at one time. He played a major role in the formation of the Imran Khan-led government in 2018, but during the PTI-led government, he was accused of money laundering, after which he parted ways with Imran Khan. Now we have to see which leaders are officially part of the Istehkaam-e-Pakistan party.
