In a tweet, former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has strongly condemned the attack on the Nabawi Mosque in the Hesa-e Awal area of ​​Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan province. Expressing his condolences to the families of the victims, Karzai called it terrorism, against humanitarian and Islamic norms. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman also condemned the attack.

Significantly, on Tuesday, the deputy governor of Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province, Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi, along with his driver, were killed in a car bomb explosion, in which a total of six people were injured.
