District Magistrate Vipin Itankar told the press conference that citizens can register their demand for Sand purchase online by adding only Aadhaar card. There is a stock of 50,000 brass sands in 11 deposits in the district. Citizens should buy sand from the deposit at a cheaper price. No need to buy arena from arena mob at higher prices.

He explained through the presentation how to complete the process of purchasing sand online. He said there will be enough stock of sand available even during the rainy season. At present, he reported that 35-35 thousand brass sands are available in 11 deposits of 4 tehsils in the district. The excavation will start until June 10, then there will be a stock of 50,000 brass sand, so the sand will be available even during the rains. Sand excavation will start again in September through contractors.

Those who want sand can register at Setu Kendra, Net Cafe, on the Mahakhanij website from their mobile. The money will also need to be paid online, the receipt of which will be received online immediately. You can remove sand from the tank by showing the receipt. For the next 2 days, sand will be given to households only. No one will be able to keep additional stocks of sand. Sand from across the district and from other states will be monitored. Itankar gave information about submitting a proposal to the government for large-scale sand collectors.
