Nashik: Parking fees will be doubled with all ticket fees for the Maharishi Dadasaheb Phalke Memorial and Buddha Memorial film and the entire Buddha Vihar complex. The proposal in this regard has been submitted by the Nashik Municipal Corporation Revenue Department to the Standing Committee for approval.
Dadasaheb Phalke Memorial has been reopened for tourists from July 1, 2022. The weekly rest is given every Monday. From Jul 2022 to Aug 2022 the income of this place has been greatly reduced and the total cost of electricity bill and installation for Jul 2022 and Aug 2022 is 45 lakh 50 thousand 824. It is for that after the deduction of the rent, the Municipal Corporation faces a charge of 71 thousand 487 per day. Therefore, the Department of Revenue has proposed to increase all ticket fees and other fees in the entire Budh Vihar area including Dadasaheb Phalke Memorial and Buddha Memorial as suggested by the Municipal Administration. The approval of the Standing Committee will be made by the Municipal Commissioner and Chairman of the Standing Committee, Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar at the meeting.

Previously, the adult entrance fee was 10 Rupees, now it has been increased to 20 rupees. The entrance fee for children from 3 to 18 years old is 5 rupees. It will increase to 10 rupees. Rs 10 will be charged instead of Rs 5 for two-wheelers, Rs 10 instead of Rs 5 for three-wheelers and Rs 10 for four-wheelers. Rs 40 will be charged for bus and large vehicles.
