Karachi. A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck Pakistan’s Balochistan province, killing three children and injuring five others. The officers provided this information.
The epicenter of Friday’s earthquake in the province was located 60 kilometers northwest of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, it said. In Chaman, a town on the border with Iran, three children died when their mud house collapsed in the earthquake.
According to a government spokesman, “among the boys killed were also two girls.” The spokesman said that two houses made of mud collapsed in the quake. He said that five injured have been admitted to the hospital.
