Medicines are supplied from the godown to various Medplus pharmacies in the city.

Defendant Piyush Ashok Motghare (35) worked as a delivery boy, Vaibhav Purushottam Armarkar (32) as an assistant manager, Mahesh Raut (30) and Kushal Agase (30) as a store manager. Between May and December 2022, the defendant took Rs 4.44 lakh worth of goods under the pretense of supplying medicines in the store. The money was embezzled by selling all the goods in the market. The fraud came to light during the audit and a complaint was filed with the police. The police registered a case of fraud and launched an investigation.
