The base gameplay in Beasts of Fire takes place on a five-reel slot in an almost diamond shaped layout. By default, this gives 576 ways to win design, with reels of 3-4-4-4-3.

Symbols are a mix of wildlife-themed and regular J, Q, K, A Symbols, all of which come in fairly stacked formations. There are a few wild symbols on the middle reels that will help create wins, but essentially it's the highest paying Buffalo/Bison symbols you are looking for to score the most significant wins.

Charging Buffaloes

One notable feature in the base game is the Charging Buffaloes feature triggered randomly on any spin during the base game.

Signalled by Charging Buffaloes smashing through the screen as shown in the screenshot, this feature increases the number of Buffalo symbols that land in view during that spin.

While this doesn't guarantee any win, it significantly increases your chances of landing wins with the premium paying symbol and occurs quite frequently to keep the base game interesting.

Meteor Re-Spin

The other base game feature that can dramatically alter gameplay comes from the Meteor symbols, which can only land on the middle reel.

When this feature triggers, the reel height expands by one, along with an increased chance of triggering the Charging Buffaloes feature.

Both of these small features prepare you well for what's in store during the bonus round. Any Meteor Re-Spins permanently expand the reels for the duration of the entire bonus round, and full re-triggers are also a possibility.

Things heat up further with the addition of the Fire Beast symbols during the main feature increasing the volatility and hit potential, which is claimed to be a max win of 25,000x stake!

The Meteor symbol can land on any spin on the middle reel only and awards a Re-spin of the reels.
