Dr. Vikram Sarabhai (1919-1971) is known as the Father of the Indian Space Program He is a visionary physicist and astronomer he is the foundation of India's space research and development efforts,He was born in Ahmedabad, India.Doctor Vikram Sarabhai studied physics at the University of Cambridge and returned to India in 1947.He established the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in Ahmedabad in 1947 Sarabhai also played a key role in the establishment in (INCOSPAR) in 1962.Sarabhai died in 1971, but his legacy continues to inspire India's space program.ISRO has recent years, project launching and successful to the Moon and Mars missions is known as who is the father of indian space program

The Indian space program is the most successful program in the world,(ISRO) is the national space agency of India, and is responsible for the country's space program's.Indian Space Research Organization was established in 1969 also launched over 100 satellites into orbit.ISRO has also developed like Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV).

(ISRO) satellites was mostly used in telecommunications, remote sensing, and weather forecasting. Remote sensing satellites are used to monitor natural resources, track agricultural production,to prevent from damage caused by natural disasters.

ISRO launched the Chandrayaan-1 lunar probe,about the Moon's surface and composition.In 2014,ISRO launched the Mars Orbiter Mission, which made India the fourth nation to successfully send a spacecraft to Mars.ISRO is currently workingin number of ambitious projects, including the Gaganyaan human spaceflight program.Gaganyaan aims to send three Indian astronauts into space by 2024 as soon.

  • (IIST) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, institute for space science and technology education and research in India. It was established by Dr. Sarabhai in 1963. IIST = Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology

Dr. Sarabhai's Passing History 

 Dr. Vikram Sarabhai sir passed away on December 30, 1971, at the age of 52. He died by effect of heart attack in Kovalam, Kerala, When he was in vacation.Sarabhai's death was sudden and unexpected He was in good health while talking with A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on the telephone just hours before his death.Sarabhai's death was a major loss for India's space program becausehe is the behind for program,vision and leadership he was helped to india globally inspace research and technology.
