With the new year, Call of Duty: Mobile’s is set to roll back to season 1. Season 01 2023 is the first major update of the year, and it promises to be a big one. The new season will bring a range of new content for players, including potentially new maps, weapons, modes, and more. The update also features celebrations centered around the New Year. Players can look forward to a lot of exciting new content with CoD Mobile’s Season 1 2023.

While there are no official word for the release date of the update, it is expecter to arrive on January 19, based on the end date for Season 11. The season is likely to last for four to six weeks, ending in early February.

Optimized the display of enemy kill and stun texts

Improved text displayed when enemies are killed or stunned.

Displaying kill or stun text over the reticle is a practice many battle royale games use. However, we’ve found that sometimes this text is redundant or too frequent, and sometimes it’s hard to see the text properly. Optimizations have been made to address these issues.

1. If you kill or stun another player, text will not appear on your reticle. Instead, they are displayed on the right side of the reticle (similar to positive effects displayed in multiplayer).

2. If a teammate has killed or stunned you, it will be displayed as text on a blue background. If a teammate is killed or stunned, this is indicated by text on a red background.

3. Displayed in more concise text.

4. Squad Annihilation text is displayed.

Death Log

A death log has been added to Battle Royale. Killed players can view summary information in the death log. You can see the damage on both sides between the player and the killer in chronological order. However, there may be some errors in the data.

Elite Mission Rewards

In the final season of Elite Missions, soldiers can exchange a certain number of Secret Tokens and Legendary Medals for Elite Mission Rewards. Details on the final reward will be revealed next season!

Legend Medal

At the end of each season, a Legend Medal of the Year is awarded to soldiers who reach the Legend tier (calculated separately for Multiplayer and Battle Royale). Additional medals will be awarded to players who finish in the top 5,000 legends at the end of the season.

This year’s soldiers will earn “Kurohana’s Medal” with a black lily concept as the 2023 Legendary Medal.

Each year you participate in an Elite Mission, you will receive a Secret Token and a Legendary Medal. After an Elite Mission has ended, you will still receive Elite Mission Rewards, but you will not receive any Secret Tokens or Legendary Medals from the completed Mission.
