Call of Duty Mobile Players Are Furious with Ranked System

Call of Duty: Mobile has Ranked system which is used to categorize players based on their skill level. There are seven different ranks in total, each with its own set of tiers. The ranks are as follows:

  • Legendary – 8001+ points
  • Grand Master: 6001 – 8000
  • Master – 4501 to 6501 points
  • Pro – 3001 to 4500 points
  • Elite – 2001 to 3000 points
  • Veteran – 1001 to 2000 points
  • Rookie – 1 to 1000 points

The purpose of the ranked system is to distinguish players according to their level of play. By working their way up through the ranks, players can demonstrate their proficiency in the game and compete against other skilled players.

How Does Ranked System Works?

The amount of ranked points you earn is determined by various factors, including your Performance in matches (such as the number of kills you get), points can be lost if you have a poor performance in matches, your results (wins and losses), and any win streaks you may have.

But in the higher ranks, the ranked points are awarded primarily based on the winning team, rather than the individual performance of players. This means that even if you are the MVP of the game or played exceptionally well, if your team loses, you will still lose points.

What is causing players to be Furious with the ranked system?

This system has caused frustration among some players, who argue that it is unfair to lose points due to the performance of their teammates. Many players on Reddit have expressed their anger about this system, stating that it is not fair to lose points simply because their teammates did not perform well and the team lost the game.

I saw this tweet and I actually agree with it. CODM rewards the worst on the best team more than the best on the worst team, which is completely unfair imo. Thoughts? from CallOfDutyMobile

Some players believe that the ranked points system should take into account a wider range of factors beyond just the team’s win or loss. They argue that the game should evaluate the individual performances of all 10 players based on objective points, kills, assists, and other metrics, and rank them accordingly.

The points earned or lost for each player’s performance would then be adjusted based on the overall match result, but not to a significant extent, as the majority of the points should be based on individual performance. This would make the game more skill-based, as it would be more difficult for a single player to carry the team to victory
