This purchase has passed the previous record for the largest exit record in Turkey by over $2.7 billion. Previously, the largest exit record was set in 2020 when Zynga acquired Peak for $1.8 billion. At the height of Tencent’s acquisition of Dream Games, avid mobile gamers have much to look forward to. After just a few short years, Dream Games has already grown to great heights– and now has even more opportunities for growth in the future.

Tencent is most well-known for its PUBG Mobile, League of Legends, and Honor of Kings mobile gaming apps. All of which hold titles as top-grossing games worldwide. According to buisnessofapps.com, Honor of Kings had the largest annual revenue worldwide in 2022, reaching $1.65 billion. This large feat has helped push Tencent past other app developers, earning itself the position of one of the most powerful technology and entertainment conglomerates worldwide.
