Hi there folks!
This weekend we held an MoDPDM (“the Ministry of Dice Presents Dice Masters”) at the UK Games Expo.
I’ll be knuckling down to a more detailed tournament report in the coming days, as well as both the live coverage that will be on the imminent episode of the podcast and the look back I’ll do next episode, but in the meantime I’ve chucked together the team lists for you all to peruse.
BEFORE I GET INTO THAT THOUGH – a huge shout out to all of the folks in the UK community who came out and played AND a massive congratulations to the Dice Masters living legend that is Ben Said Scott for taking the top spot. Keep your ears out for Ben’s thoughts and report in an upcoming episode of the DMUnited podcast, in which he can outline how he mercilessly defeated us all! LOL

The Event
We were playing a format we called “Lockdown Modern”, which was all the legal sets from the Modern 2020 threshold onwards (including the new releases since the 2022 rotation too.) There were 10 players in attendance giving us a 4 round tournament. The final results were based off swiss performance, we didn’t hold any cuts or a final or owt.
