Lions Face Ravens at Home 

The Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens will face off in Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season on Sunday, October 22 at 1:00 PM EST. In addition, they will face off at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

In the end, the Lions are coming off a 20-6 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. On the other hand, the Ravens are coming off a 24-16 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Finally, the Lions are currently 5-1 on the season and in first place in the NFC North. Meanwhile the Ravens are 4-2 on the season and in second place in the AFC North.

Lions Offense vs. Ravens Defense

Ultimately, the Lions quarterback, Jared Goff, is the leader of the offense. Meanwhile, this is in his second season with the team. All in all, Goff has been playing well this season, and he is one of the reasons why the Lions have been so successful.

In Week 6 against the Buccaneers, Goff threw for 353 yards and two touchdowns also with no interceptions.

Lion’s Running Game 

Additionally, the Lions also have a talented running game, led by D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams. Swift is a dynamic playmaker who can line up all over the field. Williams is a physical runner who is good at breaking through tackles.

In Week 6 against the Buccaneers, Swift rushed for 57 yards on 14 carries. Williams rushed for 58 yards on 12 carries.

The Lions also have a number of talented wide receivers, including Amon-Ra St. Brown, DJ Chark, and Josh Reynolds. First, St. Brown is a rising star who is one of the best young receivers in the NFL. Chark is a speedster who can stretch the field. Reynolds is a big target who can be a mismatch for opposing cornerbacks.

Furthermore, in Week 6 against the Buccaneers, St. Brown caught five passes for 111 yards and one touchdown. Chark caught three passes for 98 yards. Reynolds caught four passes for 45 yards.

Lion’s Offensive Line

The Lion’s offensive line has been a bit of a question mark so far this season, but they showed some improvement in Week 6 against the Buccaneers.

Ultimately, the Ravens defense is led by linebacker Patrick Queen, who has 5.5 sacks on the season. They also have a talented secondary, led by Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters.

In Week 6 against the Titans, the Ravens defense allowed 16 points and 220 total yards. They also forced two turnovers.

Ravens Offense vs. Lions Defense

The Raven’s quarterback, Lamar Jackson, is the leader of the offense. All in all, he is one of the most dynamic players in the NFL. Jackson is a threat to run and pass, and he is capable of taking over games.

Finally, in Week 6 against the Titans, Jackson threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. He also rushed for 60 yards on 10 carries.

Raven’s Running Game 

The Ravens also have a talented running game, led by J.K. Dobbins and Kenyan Drake. Dobbins is a powerful runner who is good at breaking through tackles. Drake is a speedster who can get outside and make big plays.

In Week 6 against the Titans, Dobbins rushed for 72 yards on 15 carries. Drake rushed for 41 yards on 11 carries.

Also, the Ravens also have a number of talented wide receivers, including Marquise Brown, Devin Duvernay, and Rashod Bateman. Brown is a speedster who can stretch the field. Duvernay is a versatile playmaker who can line up all over the field. Bateman is a big target who can be a mismatch for opposing cornerbacks.

Finally, in Week 6 against the Titans, Brown caught five passes for 79 yards and one touchdown. Additionally, Duvernay caught seven passes for 125 yards. In the end, Bateman caught four passes for 52 yards.

Raven’s Offensive Line 

The Raven’s offensive line has been a bit of a liability so far this season, yet they showed some improvement in Week 6 against the Titans.

The Lion’s defense is led by defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, who has 4.5 sacks on the season. Meanwhile, they also have a talented secondary, led by Amani Oruwariye and Tracy Walker.

In Week 6 against the Buccaneers, the Lion’s defense allowed six points and 259 total yards. In the end, they also forced two turnovers.

Lions vs Ravens Week 7 Prediction

To sum it up, the Lions and Ravens are two of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. Therefore, this is going to be a close game, but I predict that the Lions will win. All in all, they have a slightly better offense and a slightly better defense.
