EA Sports FC is making its mark and it begins with the inaugural game, which is officially called EA Sports FC 24. And what better way to start it off than by making last season’s treble winner and prolific Norwegian dynamite, Erling Haaland? 

That’s right, you’ve read that correctly. Manchester City’s Erling has been confirmed as this year’s cover star. This was confirmed by EA Sports FC 24’s official live stream, with the man himself making an appearance at the event and expressing his happiness for being the game’s cover star for the standard version. 

Seeing as he was last season’s top Premier League and Champions League goal scorer, Premier League’s highest ever goalscorer in a single season, managed to obtain the Premier League Player of the Season and also Premier League Young Player of the Season and FWA Player of the Year awards. On top of being a vital figure in Manchester City’s biggest ever achievement, who else would’ve been a better candidate to truly represent EA Sports FC 24? 

There was also the Ultimate Edition cover that was released a few days ago, and it featured an abundance of top current male and female players, as well as some of the greatest footballers of all time, such as Ronaldinho and the late, great Johan Cruyff. 

EA Sports FC 24’s event also showcased the gameplay trailer, as well as details on the Ultimate team and so on. This is going to be a pretty big year and season for football fans everywhere.
