Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Publisher EA has revealed more information about its plan for game releases in the next fiscal year.
On Tuesday, 9 May 2023, EA, who is the publisher of the Dragon Age games and the upcoming Dragon Age: Dreadwolf released information detailing what games were planned to be released during its current fiscal year, which ends 31 March 2024.

Amongst the titles included were Super Mega Baseball and F1 23, both of which will be releasing in Q1 2024, their magic-based first-person shooter, Immortals of Aveum, as well as their usual sports titles like Madden 24 and EA Sports FC, these titles would only be released Q2 2024. NHL 24 would only be released Q3 2024.
Alongside these titles, EA has also confirmed that there would be two more unannounced games that would be releasing in Fiscal Year 2024. While we currently do not know what these titles are, we do know that one is an EA Sports title and another is a racing title, notably Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was not included in that list.
In October 2022, the general manager of BioWare, Gary McKay did state that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was indeed in alpha status and was playable. He stated that it was playable from “the opening scenes of the first mission to the very end”. He then went on to say that the team at BioWare put a lot of their focus on the game and its pacing as well as creating “narrative cohesion” between characters and the player.
However, in February 2023, gameplay footage of a test build of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf leaked online and was met with an incredibly mixed reception by players and long-time fans of the series. Due to this setback, it is likely that the release of the game has been postponed to better refine the experience.
Currently, we do not know much about the Action RPG sequel to Dragon Age: Inquisition. While we had a glimpse into gameplay, due to it being an early build, it is likely that it will differ greatly from the final game. Fans of the series can rest assured knowing that we at least have a rough estimate as to when the game will be released. That is, if there aren’t any further setbacks.
