Klarg is a hulking and menacing Bugbear, known for his brutal leadership and cunning tactics. With a towering frame and a perpetually scowling expression, he strikes fear into those who cross his path. His matted fur and crude armor give him a savage appearance, and his sharp eyes miss little in his domain. Klarg is a formidable figure in the world of goblins, commanding respect and fear from his underlings.

This version of Klarg was gifted a pendant from King Grol, the leader of the Cragmaw Goblins. The black stone hanging on the pendant glows with a green ethereal energy. It is a piece of the Shattered Obelisk that the goblins have been recovering from Wave Echo Cave and grants Klarg some psionic abilities. This updated version of Klarg better ties him into "Phandalin and Bellow: The Shattered Obelisk," the remastered version of "Lost Mines of Phandelver."

If you are running 'Lost Mine of Phandelver' for a group of experience players, use this stat block in place of the standard Bugbear Stat Block to surprise your players.
