Tieflings of the Multiverse

Publisher: Dungeon Masters Guild

Author's Note

Hey there, folks! Cam here, with a new series for you all - Lineages of the Multiverse! This grew out of a conversation I have SO MANY TIMES when I work with players to come up with characters for different settings: "Well, what are X people like in X world?" And that is especially poignant with the worlds we find in the published Wizards settings.

We are presented with Faerun, Eberron, Ravnica, Ravenloft, Theros, Strixhaven (Arcavios), the Feywild, and the First World.

I collected an amazing cast of writers and artists to help bring to life a series answering just that question: what are X people like in X world. In this Eighth Book, we explored probably the most popular of D and amp;D races: Tieflings. Finding their true origins as a player option in 4e, they have since grown and grown, with so many different interpretations beyond the basic "born as infernal mistake".

With Anna, Molly, Erin, and even me sneaking in there, we were able to craft and reimagine what the origins and looks of tieflings would be in other worlds. That, coupled with Jack's AMAZING ART, absolutely NAILS this book as one of the coolest we have ever put together.

It was a lot of fun - especially in an art direction - to take a classic people from D and amp;D's history and completely reimagine and redesign them. We hope you enjoy the eighth Lineages book as much as we enjoyed making it!

Children of Contract

Within this eighth book of the Lineages of the Multiverse, learn about the eight variants of tieflings across the multiverse. From the seventithe of the Feywild to the flying aces of Eberron and the lantern bearers of Ravenloft, explore and meet them in an all new light!

Anna, Molly, and Erin (with me slipping one in) did an amazing job bringing these eight new lineages to life - using the Ancestry and Culture system - and Jack's art brings them all to life in beautiful fashion. Keep your eyes tuned for more multiverse projects coming down the pipe!
