Skiamancy: The Art of Darkness (Fantasy Grounds)

Publisher: Dungeon Masters Guild

This is a module for the Fantasy Grounds VTT and Dungeons and amp; Dragons 5E. If you are looking for the PDF - click here.

“It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,

Ends life, kills laughter.”

—Gollum in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit

The study of magic is an ongoing and evolving process with experienced arcane practitioners constantly discovering, refining, or even creating new spells. One area that has seen increased study is “skiamancy”: the art of manifesting and manipulating shadows.

In this supplement, you’ll find eight new spells, some reclassifying of existing spells, as well as two subclasses that make use of all of them.

Please Note: All the material found in this supplement was originally published in Johnny Snaggletooth’s Casebook of Crime, an expansion for Hardboiled Adventures written by the same author. The skiamancy content has been duplicated and rebranded in 5th Edition stylings for those players and Dungeon Masters who want to use it in their regular Dungeons and amp; Dragons campaigns.
