Risk of Rain 2, the sequel of Risk of Rain is a third-person shooter roguelike action video game published by Gearbox Publishing and developed by Hopoo Games. Everything must be unlocked starting from powerful items and equipment, new characters with unique skills, and playstyles by completing a specific Challenge or achievement. Risk of Rain 2 New Items
Recently, Risk of Rain 2 came up with a new update called Hidden Realms. Many new items have been introduced and the game has just gotten even more interesting. Now players can choose from a whole lot of new items to accomplish and unlock new challenges. Risk of Rain 2 New Items:

Newest (Soulbound Catalyst) Risk of Rain 2
The Newest (Soulbound Catalyst) is a challenge in the Risk of Rain 2. The Challenge is to activate 8 unique Newt Altars completed across multiple runs. The rare item Soulbound Catalyst unlocks after completing this challenge.
It is basically to deal with three spawns on each map. Any 8 separate Altars must be activated. Newt Altars surface randomly in some fixed locations, and players can pay a Risk of Rain 2 Lunar Coin into them. They may appear in hard-to-reach locations. In order to complete the challenge players will need to actually activate these Newt Altars.
