Intertops Sending Players to Aussie Millions 2018

Intertops Poker is giving its customers a chance to win a trip to the Aussie Millions festival in January at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. The winners will be determined through a series of online satellites culminating in the $100 + $10 Aussie Millions Satellite Final on Sunday, Nov. 12. Each prize package is worth AU$3,500 and comes with an AU$1,150 buyin to the first event on the Aussie Millions schedule.

Satellite Schedule

There are a number of satellite events designed to cater to players who only have a few dollars to spare as well as those with more robust bankrolls. Starting on Nov. 1, participants will be able to enter the following contests:

    • $3 + $0.30 Aussie Millions Step 1: Pays 1 ticket to Step 2, runs every six hours at 2pm/8pm/2am/8am AEST
    • $10 + $1 Aussie Millions Step 2: Pays 1 ticket to the Final, runs every day from Nov. 2 at 9 pm AEST
    • $2 + $0.20 Aussie Millions Last Chance: Pays 1 ticket to the Final, runs Nov. 12 at 1 pm AEST
    • $100 + $10 Aussie Millions Final: Pays 1 $3,500 package, runs Nov. 12 at 5pm AEST

All of these qualifier tournaments allow rebuys and a single add-on. For the Last Chance event, the add-on costs $6 and lets you top up your stack with 10 times as many chips as you started the tourney with. The other satellites have a more normal distribution of add-on chips, and rebuys and add-ons all cost the same amount as the initial buyin. Please note that all ticket and package payouts are guaranteed as long as the required minimum number of players registers. However, in the event that more participants join, multiple prizes may be awarded depending on the exact numbers involved.

About the Prize Package

The prize package that's up for grabs consists of an AU$1,025 + $125 ticket to the opening event of the Aussie Millions, four night's stay at the Quay West Suites and $500 to help with travel costs. On Saturday, Jan. 20, the lucky traveler will be able to join the Intertops team for the last starting flight of the Aussie Millions 2018 Opening Event. This competition will have actually begun on Jan. 17, and three previous starting days will be completed by the time the Intertops winner(s) arrives. The Opening Event, which guarantees AU$1,000,000, will continue through three days of play until Monday, Jan. 22.
