LG X Venture Rugged Smartphone Exclusively Launched On AT&T



The LG X venture carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The handset will be good in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.

Since it’s a rugged handset that’s meant to be usable out in the field as well, the LG X venture has a “glove mode” which enables users wearing gloves of up to 2mm in thickness to use the touchscreen display without having to take off their gloves.

The device also has a dedicated button on the side which launches its Outdoor Essentials app. The app offers several features meant for people that want to use the phone outdoors, the features include a compass, barometer, various counters, flashlight, weather information, and more.

The LG X venture touts a 5.2 inch display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It has a 16 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera as well as Android 7.0 Nougat. There’s a big 4,000mAh battery.

AT&T will start selling the LG X venture from Friday, May 26th for $11 per month for 30 months or at the full retail price of $330.
