Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 May Arrive Soon

After months of speculation about what it was going to do with the millions of Galaxy Note 7 handsets that it had recalled after discontinuing the flagship last year, Samsung confirmed several weeks back that it was going to launch a Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 in a handful of markets across the globe. It hasn’t revealed more details about this so far but there’s some evidence to suggest that the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 may not be that far off.

Previous reports have revealed that the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is going to have model number SM-N935. For the sake of comparison, the original Galaxy Note 7 had model number SM-N930. The SM-N935 has been spotted at the Wi-Fi Alliance for its certification.

The listing shows that the handset is running Android 7.0 Nougat which isn’t a surprise given that it’s highly likely that Samsung will launch it with Nougat. The certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance is normally an indication that an impending device’s launch is not that far off.

We’ve seen this with many Samsung handsets so there’s reason to believe now that the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is just around the corner. Samsung might confirm more details about it once it goes done with the initial hype surrounding the Galaxy S8’s release.
