Goal Zero Launches Portable Fridges and New Portable Power Stations

Goal Zero is one of the firms that released multiple technologies at the CES 2024. New Compact Yeti power stations, and Alta line of portable fridges came to light at the CES from the stable of Goal Zero. The fridges are also part of the firm’s Yeti-Ready Gear line of products. They all work together seamlessly.

Features of Alta 50, and 80

People who stay away from home for a little while will enjoy features offered by the portable fridges. Here are some of the most important features of the Alta 50 and the Alta 80.

  • Ease of use: The Alta 80 (double-zone), and the Alta 50, (single-zone) can easily be used and cleaned. There’s also internal LED for each zone.
  • Flexible operation: There’s the GZ app which offers flexible means of operation. Users can move from diverse range of temperatures.
  • Multiple power choices: Yeti system offers plug-and-go simplicity that users will love. There are other options too, such as 12V/24V DC input, 100V-240V AC input. Furthermore, there’s a 12V car adapter input.
  • High efficiency: When users set the fridge temperature to 35°F, it only draws 8 watts for the Alta 50 and 10.5 watts for the Alta 80. It is most efficient of its type on the market.

Along with the above-named products, Goal Zero also launched new Yeti 300, 500, and 700 power stations. A Goal Zero press release explained that they are essentials for adventurers, remote workers, and travelers who need to get power as at when needed.

  • Amazing power output: They come in small sizes but they are able to run portable fridges, air pumps, pellet grills, and even power tools that have larger capacities.
  • Good lifespan: Upgraded LiFe PO4 battery tech makes the battery lifespan extend to over 10 years of daily use.
  • Fast charging: Most people who are always in a hurry will find that the Yeti is able to charge from zero percent to 100 percent in just 50 minutes in the Yeti 300. The 500 does that in 90 minutes, while the 700 does it in under two hours.
  • Excellent build: All three products have a few things in common – portability, and durability. However, it is the fact that they meet the high standards for UL2743 and IPX$ certifications and functions that make them all the more special.

The fridges and the power stations were clearly displayed for guests to see at the CES 2024. They are available on Goal Zero’s website, Amazon, REI, as well as through retailers.
