The camera’s exceptional range is powered by Morse Micro’s Wi-Fi CERTIFIED HaLow system-on-chip (SoC) solution, which outperforms traditional Wi-Fi by operating on narrow frequency bands. This technology allows the camera to overcome transmission obstacles and deliver performance even in environments crowded with multiple devices.
Best-in-Class Battery Life
The Abode Edge Camera features a 6,000 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, offering up to one year of battery life on a single charge. It also includes an integrated PIR motion sensor and AI detection, which triggers recording during meaningful activity and conserves battery life by entering a deep sleep mode when motion is not detected.
Advanced AI and Durability
This camera integrates advanced AI models and algorithms from Xailient for tasks like object detection, facial recognition, and anomaly detection. Its IP67-rated weather-tight housing makes it suitable for outdoor environments. For multiple cameras, the Abode Standard Plan is available for $6.99/month, providing similar features across unlimited cameras.
