Logitech has introduced a new Mechanical Gaming Keyboard built for professional competition. The Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard will retail at stores this month for a price of $129.

The G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is lightweight and at the same time features a tenkeyless design. It has a steel back plate, making it best suited for intense gameplay.

One of the major highlights is Logitech’s exclusive Romer-G mechanical switches that provide 25 percent faster actuation than standard mechanical keyboards. It also features a detachable cable system, making it easy to transport with customizable RGB lighting and onboard memory.

The G Pro measures 6.02 x 14.21 inches and weighs 2.16lbs.

Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of Logitech G, in a statement said the G Pro was introduced to cater to the growing eSports industry. He added that the ultra-fast switches, durable construction, and tenkeyless design makes it best for travel. The detachable Micro-USB connector is what ensures the cable won’t break at the connection point when transported between events.

Users have can install Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) to personalize each individual key light from more than 16.8 million colors and even save a lighting pattern to onboard memory.
