Vertu, a luxury smartphone maker, has unveiled a new line of handsets, which it has ritzily dubbed the Aster Chevron. The Aster Chevron’s much cheaper than its predecessors which cost a staggering $7,000, and represent the first line of phones that Vertu has come out with since the British manufacturer was bought by Hong Kong-based Godin Holdings.

The rear panel of these distinctive and distinguished-looking smartphones is made up of a highly resilient Italian fabric available in blue, black, and pink. The Asher Chevron’s bones are made of grade 5 titanium, which makes it both highly durable and jacks up the price tag, according to PhoneArena.

Beyond this, these Android 5.1 Lollipop phones feature a 4.7 inch Full HD display, falling short of the QHD quality that is rapidly becoming market standard, covered by a crystal sapphire screen. The Aster Chevron is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S., and features some unimpressive tech in its guts, such as the dated quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a 2275 mAh battery according to UberGizmo.

It rounds out its features on a high note with an impressive 13 MP sensor Hasselblad camera. That, however, does not make it worth the $4,200 that Vertu is demanding for this lackluster phone.
