Review: Huawei E5771 Mobile WiFi Plus

Huawei Technology launches a lot of brand new practical LTE Mobile hotspot in recent years, like Huawei E5786, E5787, E5771 and more devices with different attractive features. Huawei E5771 Wi-Fi Plus is one of the first 4G hotspot devices with 9600mAh power capacity battery which cannot only provides more usage time for 4G internet connectivity, but also works as a power bank for charging other mobile device.

Super compact and decent design

With a stunning design, the E5771 router can be purchased in Black, White and Gold variant colors. The dimensions of the E5771 device are 116.69 x 73.45 x 23.38 mm and weight is 235g including battery. It is portable enough to be left in your pocket while on the go.

Unlike Huawei mobile WiFi pro E5770, there is no LED screen on the front of E5771, only Huawei logo and the power button on the front. On the back, the number indicates 9600mAh battery capacity, which is almost double of the E5770 battery capacity.

On the edge at the power button side, there are USB In & Out ports for 5V/2A. The USB Out port is to charge other electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets etc., while the In port is for charging E5771 itself. At the top side edge, there are 5 small indicators, one for data transfer and the rest four for power status.

Powerful 9600mAh battery

Battery life on the E5771 is powerful than other mobile hotspots in the market. It comes with a 9600mAh irremovable battery, which can provide internet connection up to around 38 hours and stand-by time around 500 hours. You can also charge other devices like mobile phones, tablets, Pads etc. It would be very convenient when you are traveling and you don’t have to carry power band and mobile hotspot at the same time.

Wide Network Frequencies

Currently, there are 3 sub-models for the E5771 with different bands. Huawei E5771h-937 owns the most wide network bands which includes TDD-LTE B38/B39/B40/41 (TDD 2600/1900/2300/2500Mhz) and FDD B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B19/B8 (FDD 2100/1900/1800/1700/850/800/900Mhz). These bands could be used by most of the countries in the world. Huawei E5771s-856 supports TDD B40(2300MHz~2370MHz)/B41(2555MHz~2655MHz) and FDD B1/B3/B8 (900/1800/2100MHz). And the Huawei E5771s-852 supports TDD B38/B39/B40 (2300MHz~2370MHz) TDD 2600/1900/2300Mhz.

In summary, the 9600mAh large battery capacity and wide network bands make the E5771 differ from other mobile hotspot. It would be perfect that if this E5771 has a LED touchscreen. If you really want a touch screen mobile hotspot, you could take Huawei E5787 mobile WiFi touch into consideration.
