From the specs and leaks we’ve heard until now for the Galaxy S8, is that the device will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Multiple reports now say that there might be a variation of the S8 with 6GB ram, only for the markets of China.

Similar rumor about this we’ve heard before. A version of the Galaxy C9 Pro with 6GB RAM already showed up in the country, so the possibility to happen something similar with the S8 is pretty high. The variation of the S8 should feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

If the device has more RAM, it doesn’t mean that it will improve its performance. The primary reason of the company is to ensure that their new smartphone won’t get easily copied by the competition.
