The Canadian smartphone company is going to launch their new smartphone named Blackberry Athena after a long interval of launching the Blackberry Motion.

Blackberry Athena will come with 4.5 inches FULL HD display, 3:2 aspect ratio display with the resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels which will result in 433 PPI.
For the processor, news spread that the Blackberry Athena might be running on year’s old but good enough 2.2 GHz Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 660 Octa-Core processor with kyro 260 and Adreno 512 graphics. 6 GB RAM and 64 internal storage which will be expandable up to 2 TB with microSD will be used is rumoured.
This phone might spotted with 12 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, secondary camera and 8 megapixels front facing camera with bokeh effect.
It is confirmed that Blackberry Athena will contain 4-Row physical QWERTY physical backlit keyboard with the keys which will support flip typing and touch gestures. There will a fingerprint sensor under the spacebar key.
The connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC. Besides Blackberry might integrate 3360 mAh battery with Qualcomm’s quick charge 3.0. This phone might run Android One based on Android Oreo 8.1.
It’s expected that this phone will come with two variants of colours one black and another grey.
