Apple releases macOS Sierra to the public!

Apple has just released Macos Sierra to the public!!

The new software update is, of course, free, and available RIGHT NOW!  Download it from the Mac App Store here,  or through the software update function.

There were 8 betas of macOS Sierra and multiple versions of the golden master before its official launch this week. It’s pretty shiny.

With the new update, you can expect much better integration between your iPhone and Apple Watch, such as the Universal Clipboard which means you can copy text on one device and paste it in another, files being available on all users devices through iCloud Drive, and the ability to unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch, Siri in your Mac.

Also, Siri is coming to live in your Mac! Make her work hard with information searches, voice searches to find files, and lots more.

You should probably make sure your Mac is on this list, otherwise, sorry folks, it’s not compatible with macOS Sierra.

2009 and Later
– iMac (Late 2009)
– MacBook (Late 2009)

2010 and Later
– MacBook Air (Late 2010)
– MacBook Pro (Mid 2010)
– Mac mini (Mid 2010)
– Mac Pro (Mid 2010)
