December 1 marks the thirtieth anniversary of World AIDS Day. This annual celebration, launched in 1988, highlights global efforts to combat HIV / AIDS. World AIDS Day is also an occasion to show support for people living with HIV and to commemorate those who died from this infection. That's why apple turns their logo into red in support of World Aids Day.
All over the world Apple stores are turning their logo to honor ##WorldAIDSDay
Apple is donating $1 for every Apple purchase made at an Apple store, Apple.com or through the Apple Store iOS app to charity. The event runs from Dec. 1 through Dec. 7.
Apple is promoting this event at physical retail stores as well as on its website with a giant banner advertising the company’s (PRODUCT)RED accessories for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
iPhone XR is the first iPhone to be offered in Red livery at launch in this year.
