Asus is gearing up to launch a successor to the Zenfone Max Pro M1. The new smartphone is said to be called the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2. While the phone is set to be unveiled on December 11, the phone has been leaked completely. A tech YouTube channel, GadgetsNow, had uploaded a video about the phone which was taken down just a few minutes after the upload.
The video clearly shows that the ZenFone Max Pro M2 comes with a notched display up front. The back of the phone looks to be glass which gives the phone a more premium look over its predecessor and some of the competition. It also shows that the phone has a dual-camera setup at the back just like its predecessor.
As for the specifications, the channel has confirmed that the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. It sports a 6-inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It features an aspect ratio of 19:9 due to the presence of the notch. The dual-SIM handset packs in up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Under the hood, there is a 5,000mAh battery powering up everything.
