Instagram has now made it possible to follow hashtags. With the introduction of this feature, you can access the most trending photos from specific hashtags right in your feed. Before starting the process, make sure you have updated Instagram to the latest version (26.0). Simply open App Store on your device → tap on Updates tab and update the social networking app.
How to Follow Your Favorite Instagram Hashtags on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Launch Instagram on your iOS device.
Step #2. Tap on the Explore tab at the bottom and then type the hashtag you want to follow. In this test, I’m going to follow Apple Watch hashtag.
Step #3. On the hashtag page, tap on the Follow button.
Going forward, the social networking app will use the algorithms to curate highlights from photos posted with that hashtag.
How to Unfollow Instagram Hashtags on iPhone and iPad
If you ever happen to change your mind and don’t want to follow any Instagram hashtag anymore, you can easily get rid of it.
Step #1. Launch Instagram on your iOS device.
Step #2. Now, tap on the profile tab at the bottom.
Step #3. Next, you need to tap on Following.
Step #5. Next up, tap on Hashtag tab.
Step #6. Tap on Following then tap on Unfollow to the hashtag you no longer want to follow.
