Apple introduced True Tone display on Ipad Pro last year. What makes it so useful is the ability to adapt iOS device screen in accordance with ambient lighting conditions in order to make colors consistent in different environments. As a result, it significantly reduces eyestrain and makes images on the display look more natural. Now, it has arrived on iPhone 8/ 8 Plus as well and is enabled by default. But if you want to manually adjust the display, you can enable/disable True Tone display on your iPhone 8/8 Plus as per your need.
With the use of advanced multichannel sensors, True Tone basically adjusts the color and intensity of your display to match the ambient light. Currently, the devices that feature True Tone technology are iPad Pro 12.9-inch, 2nd generation), iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad Pro (9.7-inch), iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
