Set Key Live Photos in iOS 11 on iPhone

Step #1. Launch Photos app and then choose the Live Photo which you wish to edit.

Step #2. Next, you have to tap the Edit button.

Step #3. Now, in the scrubber, you have to choose the frame which you wish to set as the new Key Photo.

Step #4. In the end, make sure to tap Done to confirm the change.

Note: Go ahead and take the full advantage of all the available editing tools to decorate your Live Photo. For instance, you can use several filters, adjust the size, rotate the image and more.

Note: Markup turns of Live Photo in order to let you edit its still version.

Step #1. Open Photos app → Choose Live Photo → Edit.

Step #2. Tap on the three tiny dots placed in Circle.

Step #3. Tap on Markup. A popup will appear on the screen saying “Markup” Turns off Live Photo and edits are applied to still photo only.” Tap on OK.

Step #1. Open Photos app → Select Live Photo → Edit.

Step #2. Tap on the sound button at the top left corner to mute/unmute sound.

Step #3. Tap on Done at the bottom right corner to confirm the change.

Step #1. Open the Photos app → Select Live Photo.

Step #2. Next, you need to swipe up on your photo.

Step #3. Now, you have four options: Live, Loop, Bounce and Long Exposure; Just tap on the effect that you wish to use.

Step #1. Open the Photos app → Select Live Photo → Edit.

Step #2. On the scrubber which appears on the bottom of the screen, you need to slide the left and right handles to fine tune the start and end points.

Step #3. Tap on Done to confirm.

Step #1. Open Photos app → Choose Live Photo → Edit.

Step #2. Tap on Revert option at the bottom right corner of the screen and then tap again on Revert to Original to Confirm.

The Live Photo will be instantly reverted to the original.
