OPPO is set to host the final demonstration event for the 2023 Oppo Inspiration Challenge in Singapore on October 18, where fifteen startups will showcase their innovative ideas, competing for a spot in the top 5.

This initiative began on May 8 when the OPPO Research Institute launched the OPPO Inspiration Challenge for the second time. It’s a global platform that aims to support entrepreneurs and tech professionals worldwide. After a careful selection process and three regional events in Boston, Shenzhen, and Bangkok, OPPO has chosen 15 promising ideas out of 687 submissions from 66 different countries.
To help these startups get ready for the final, OPPO has teamed up with Deloitte China to host a special Acceleration Camp last October 16-17. During this camp, the finalists attended workshops and a practice final. They were also able to work closely with senior OPPO executives, tech experts, and external mentors to discuss advanced technology, industry trends, and business opportunities related to digital health, accessible technology, and sustainability.
2023 OPPO Inspiration Challenge Final
At the final event, these startups will display their prototypes, with some of them revealing their latest creations if they’ve been collaborating with OPPO.
During the Global Final Demo Event, judges will evaluate the 15 proposals based on four criteria: Feasibility, Innovation, Long-term Potential, and Social Impact. The top 5 proposals will be announced at the event, and each winning team will receive a USD 50,000 prize and support to further develop their ideas. OPPO will also reveal the winners of the People’s Choice Award in the “Inspiration for People” and “Inspiration for the Planet” categories, which are chosen by the public and recognize the positive impact of innovative technology on people’s lives.
